Training

In October 2006 Nuon College won the NSCU Award of the Netherlands Foundation for Corporate Universities.

The NSCU Award is presented annually to an individual or organisation in the Netherlands who made an important contribution towards promoting knowledge about corporate universities. The jury praised our training unit for its excellent vision on learning and the manner in which this finds expression in the programme offerings and accommodation.

Nuon College was set up in September 1997. The training institute was involved in a large number of the training courses followed by employees both inside and outside Nuon. The programme caters to a wide variety of training needs in such diverse areas as safety, team development and leadership.

In 2006 Nuon College tailored the existing range of development instruments (education, training, workshops, coaching) to the individual learning preferences of employees. In addition, new forms of learning were developed on the basis of learning preferences and the location of the College was also adapted accordingly. Learning according to your preferred style goes quicker and is more fun.

Nuon College has been ISO-certified since 1 July 2006.
