Towards energy sustainability
Ever since 1987 Nuon has invested in new renewable production capacity in order to increase the share of renewable electricity in the overall energy production.
In the future we can only guarantee a reliable energy supply if we take account of the finite nature of fossil fuels and the consequences of energy use for the climate. We can do this by:
- Limiting the demand for electricity, gas and heating;
- Using renewable energy sources;
- Using fossil energy sources efficiently.
