Grid Management

Continuon Netbeheer manages the gas and electricity grids of Nuon whilst also providing the connections and transportation of electricity and gas in the Netherlands.

In addition, the grid is monitored and managed 24 hours a day via the Business Operations Center in Arnhem. Continuon Netbeheer also assists market parties with facilitating tasks such as the collection and transmission of measurement data and provides almost all customers – with the exception of the business customers – with gas and electricity metering services. This Nuon subsidiary has an independent position that is laid down by law. As such, Continuon Netbeheer pursues an independent policy in relation to grid maintenance, replacement, upgrading and expansion.
