Business principles and Code of Conduct

Nuon’s business principles consist of guidelines for doing business and for relations with customers, stakeholders and colleagues.

The business principles apply to the entire group, including subsidiaries and companies in which Nuon holds a controlling interest. Companies in which Nuon does not have a controlling interest, suppliers, business partners and prospects are encouraged to observe these principles wherever possible.

Nuon’s business principles are in keeping with European and Dutch laws and regulations and the conditions of employment that apply specifically to the energy industry. These business principles have served as the basis for the code of conduct that Nuon has drawn up for a wide range of subjects relevant to our business. This Code sets forth practical rules that provide employees with guidance for their daily actions, relations with business partners, the use of corporate property and occupational health and safety issues.
